Currently, without union protection, choreographers aren't recognized as their own category of work in SAG-AFTRA & IMDB.
Without union coverage, choreographers do not get royalties, residuals or proper ownership of their own work.
A good choreographer brings incredible production value to any shoot or performance. We would like to attain the proper crediting that reflects that value.
Representation under a union would provide choreographers with access to healthcare, pension, and annual rate increases.
